September 17 and 18 were a whirlwind for Revelation Pharma! Our team attended the Compounders on Capitol Hill event in DC, which opened the unique opportunity for us to engage with over 235 compounding professionals, as well as visit with senators and state representatives around the positive power of the compounding industry.
The event was driven by crucial meetings between professionals to discuss ways in which the compounding industry can continue to put patients first in all our endeavors, dive into the various health conditions that could benefit from the compounding approach and how, as a united front, we can transform the delivery of care.
But our excitement around industry and government engagement did not end there. We are honored to report that two of the Revelation Pharma family were spotlighted at the event!
David Rochefort, Malmberg Award Winner
David Rochefort, a second-generation pharmacist and Senior Director Regulatory Affairs and Compliance at Revelation Pharma, was named this year’s George and Lucy Malmberg Compounding Advocacy Champion. Considered the APC’s highest honor, the award recognizes “distinguished and extraordinary advocacy and political engagement in support of the pharmacy compounding profession.”
A member of APC for over 25 years, Rochefort also serves in the New Hampshire House of Representatives on the Ways & Means Committee, is the president of the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy, and has been one of the 66 members of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy since 2017.
Doug Yoch, New APC Fellow
Doug Yoch, Director of Formulation Strategy at Revelation Pharma, was inducted into the APC Fellow Program – one of only seven recipients who are considered “exemplary in their commitment to the practice of pharmacy compounding.” Since 2022, the program has spotlighted pharmacy technician leaders who go above and beyond in their commitment to patient care, as well as in their dedication to professional growth and adherence to the highest ethical standards.
