Castle Rock, Colorado, June 11, 2024 – Revelation Pharma, a national network of 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies dedicated to providing “industry best” patient care and solutions, today announced that Georgia-based Innovation Compounding has officially received Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB) Accreditation through the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC). This accreditation is a clear indicator of the pharmacy’s steadfast commitment to delivering the highest quality healthcare services and patient care.
PCAB Accreditation is achieved by meeting intensive requirements, including submitting documented proof that meets PCAB/ACHC quality standards, allowing policies and procedures to be available for review on a regular basis, and being willing to accommodate regular onsite inspections.

Created in 2007 as a guide for pharmacy excellence, the PCAB provides the most detailed compliance solution in the industry, with standards developed based on the U.S. Pharmacopeia Convention guidelines. These include:
- Only chemicals from highly reliable suppliers are utilized
- Pharmacists and technicians must receive regular, specialized training
- Facilities must meet specific design and related standards to ensure areas are clear and free of any contamination
- Pharmacies must meet USP <795> standards for non-sterile compounding and USP <797> standards for sterile compounding
- Compounding pharmacies with PCAB accreditation must follow the organization’s “Principles of Compounding”
